About Energy Saving Efficiency Print E-mail

Energy Saving Efficiency is primarily achieved with Lighting Technology, developed from the varied experience of our principal, Bud Pirrello, who started in energy saving after high school, cleaning furnace filters, duct-work, and adjusting controls.

While working toward his degree in Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University, on co-op he obtained his first engineering experience designing electronic and power factor correction capacitors at Sprague Electric. As a BSEE graduate he designed substations and remote control apparatus while with Westinghouse, was a territory manager for Emerson Electric promoting lighting, ventilation, motors, controls and signaling. Then, he became a district manager for Federal Pacific Electric training 10 sales people and 26 distributors in switchgear, motor control, and electric heating. Simultaneously, his graduate studies involved advanced mathematics, motor theory, energy conservation, and energy audits.

Next, Bud developed Energy Modules for conserving HVAC energy and trademarked SOLARGY at the US Patent Office.

He has been in Electrical Distribution over 20 years. Because energy saving lighting is the fastest way to reduce electrical power consumption with short-term payback, he then supplemented "Electrical Supplies and Equipment" with "Lighting Technology", and trademarked "Perception Brought to Light!".

Bud is also a consultant for manufacturing advanced lighting products. He is delighted to devote himself and his experience to better preserve valued resources, reduce carbon emissions, and provide a cleaner planet for our children, theirs, and theirs to come.
